Feeling torn between giving pleasure to others or having fun, feeling that his happiness goes through that of others, that we always give more than them ... Probably think that if we spend time to take care of oneself, it is to be a selfish person ... It is the behavior of many people victims of the emotional kilos.

Yet there is the link between everything we give to others and these moments of cracking even if the consciousness of too much consumption is there. Reflection of a "ras-le-bol" expressed or unconscious desire to indulge while while we spend our time and energy to please others?

Feeding and caring for oneself are intimately linked, the "giving too much" in the giving of oneself prevents one from thinking of oneself, and leads to the feeling that eating becomes the only space where one can exist. Caring more for others than for oneself, putting the other person before oneself can provoke behavioral addiction disorders of eating behavior.

This book is for anyone who wants to break the locks that prevent them from taking care of themselves and their diet, and therefore prevent them from losing weight.

In this book, the authors deliver all the tools to help decode and break the psychological blockages that maltreat the relationship to food, thanks in particular to the cycle of giving.

Le cri d’alarme du Pr. Claire Mounier-Vehier

The alarm call of Prof. Claire Mounier-Vehier

In France, 400 people a day die of a cardiovascular disease and more than half are women. These diseases are the leading cause of death for them, one in three dies. However, these pathologies are often related to the environment and lifestyle, which makes them avoidable in 80% of cases by adopting a better lifestyle!

This concrete and direct book tells the story of a collective awareness and mobilization against cardiovascular disease in women, in which health journalists from the mainstream press played an important role ...

Should we still die at 45 years of an undiagnosed infarction?
Is the delay of care for women acceptable?
Is it acceptable to be amputated at age 35 for an illness that could have been prevented?
Tiredness, shortness of breath and persistent nausea can they hide anything but a small depression when they cohabit with certain risk factors?

Lila, Angélique, Béatrice, Juliette ... have moving life stories, sometimes dramatic ... What they have lived must serve all the other women, who thanks to them, will be able to better know the signs and symptoms of diseases still under- diagnosed.

All have one thing in common: a meeting with Professor Claire Mounier-Vehier, who is working hard to change the perception of cardiovascular diseases in women, both by her colleagues in health care and by the general public.

In a warm and direct style, she creates a connivance with the reader, whom she takes with her in her consultations, her conferences and her daily life in the heart of a fight that she leads so that women have the right to live longer in good health.

• The emergence of a coordinated course "Heart, arteries, women" involving gynecologists, cardiologists, general practitioners, pharmacists around a transversal and collaborative medicine: gynecology and cardiology

• Solutions for a better lifestyle, essential precautions

• A better knowledge by women of the impact of hormonal treatments (contraception, menopause)

• The keys to properly prepare for your medical consultation

• And above all, the journey of a committed, generous doctor who fights against prejudice and restores confidence to women of all conditions.

Lose weight in sustainable fashion, saying no to diets

If you think that closing your mouth and exercising is the recipe for weight loss, think again.
According to several scientific, studies, restrictive diets not only fall 95% of the time, but also contribute to long term weight gain.

• That’s right : dieting does not work and even promotes weight gain.

In this book, nutritionnist Sophie Deram overthrows a number of myths and beliefs about nutrition and, in a clear and objective manner, brings together compelling evidence from the areas of nutrigenomics and neuroscience to show a much more sustainable and pleasurable way to achieve a healthy weight.

With Sophie’s 7 Secrets and over 70 simple, international and tasty recipes, you’ll find tips and resources to achieve a healthy weight without nutritional terrorisme, but with pleasure and awareness.

The postulate
• 95% of people who go on a diet regain their original weight, often more, within two years. Counting calories or practicing radical dietary restrictions can only lead to what we feel in the medium and long term as a failure.
• Why ? Because our animal brain, our subconscious, adapts to these restrictions that it perceives as a threat by increasing our appetite and decreasing our metabolism. This one "saves", preoccupied by our survival. Follows fatigue, depression and increasing difficulty in losing weight.
• For example: consciously, we avoid carbohydrates - a great classic for losing weight! but unconsciously the search for carbohydrates becomes our main priority. Until we crack - inevitably - in front of chocolate or cake. When this moment arrives, our tendency is of course not to eat only one piece of chocolate or one piece of cake.
• This obsession with dieting is one of the factors in the epidemic of overweight and obesity in the world. Indeed, the other side effect of diets is the explosion of eating disorders (bulimia, food compulsion, "emotional eating" and anorexia ...).

How to lose weight permanently?
By making peace with food and with one's own body, finding the healthy relationship our ancestors had with food. We must relearn how to listen to the signals our body sends us, hunger and satiety. The adopted technique is mindfull eating.
The mechanisms and development of this "method" is the subject of the first part of the book. The second part proposes concrete solutions.

What is diet in consciousness?
The mindfulL eating is a recent nutritional concept that is based on the awareness of what we eat in order to (re) discover the taste of food, their flavors and the pleasure of eating. It is defined as a way of eating consciously, healthy, balanced against a mechanical diet or based on a list of prohibited.
This method allows to eat to satiety, lose a few pounds quietly and safely, or stabilize its weight and maintain a harmonious silhouette.
It corresponds to this approach in psychology that invites us to pay more attention to the present moment, in particular to better manage stress, pain or addiction to certain products.
